Seibert Consulting Group · Campfire partner
Campfire, implemented by a team that knows both sides of the ledger
Campfire closes the books faster than the ERP you are leaving. The work that decides whether it succeeds sits around it: what comes out of the old system, and what feeds it from the systems that sell, ship and hold stock. We are an official Campfire partner, and a NetSuite solution provider of twenty years.
What we do
Campfire work we take on
Implementation is one of five. Most engagements are two or three of them together.
01
Campfire implementation
Chart of accounts, entities and consolidation, revenue policy, close checklists and the reporting your board already asks for.
02
Migration from NetSuite or QuickBooks
Twenty years of NetSuite work on the extraction side: what the data means, which balances are load-bearing, and what auditors will ask for afterwards. Extraction and mapping run on Rosetta, our migration platform.
03
Commerce operations
Orders, refunds, settlement, purchasing, landed cost and inventory valuation, posted to Campfire as accounting truth by Manifest for Campfire.
04
Integrations and API work
Banking, AP, payroll, billing and tax tools around the ledger, plus custom work against Campfire’s API for the systems that have no connector.
05
After go-live
Month-end support through the first closes, reconciliation checks, and the changes finance asks for once real transactions are flowing.
Honest answer first
Where Campfire fits, and where it does not
Campfire fits
Fits when
A finance team whose pain is the close: consolidation across entities, revenue recognition, reconciliation and reporting, on a modern interface.
Watch for
Software, services and subscription businesses are the shape Campfire was built for, and the shape most of its published customers take.
You will need more than Campfire
Fits when
You sell physical product. Campfire is a ledger, and its published integration directory has no e-commerce category.
Watch for
Inventory, orders and fulfilment live in other systems, so the commerce layer between the storefront and the ledger is a decision you have to make deliberately.
NetSuite still fits
Fits when
One system has to run manufacturing, order management, warehouses or field service, not just the books.
Watch for
We implement NetSuite too, and we will say so when it is the better answer. That is the whole point of asking an independent firm.
We have no reason to push you either way. We implement Campfire and we implement NetSuite, so the recommendation is the one your requirements support. Read the longer comparison →
For commerce brands
The gap a merchant hits on day one
Campfire’s published integration directory covers banking, AP, payroll, billing, tax and FP&A. It lists no e-commerce platform, and its inventory category is two vendors. If you sell on Shopify, nothing in the box turns orders, refunds, payouts and stock movements into journal entries your auditor can test.
Manifest for Campfire is our commerce operations layer for exactly that gap: it holds the inventory subledger, decomposes settlement, and posts to Campfire as the financial system of record.

Process
How the project runs
1
Fit assessment
We look at your entities, revenue model, transaction volume and the systems either side of the ledger, and tell you whether Campfire fits.
2
Design
Chart of accounts, entity structure, revenue policy, close calendar and the integration map, agreed with your controller before configuration starts.
3
Build and migrate
Configuration, historical data, opening balances and the connectors around the ledger, validated against your prior system.
4
Parallel close
Your first close runs with both sets of numbers in view, so differences are explained before they become adjustments.
5
Support
We stay through the first closes and the reconciliation questions that only appear once real volume is flowing.
FAQ
Questions finance leaders ask
What does Seibert Consulting Group do that Campfire’s own team does not?
Campfire implements its own product, and for a finance-only rollout their team is fast. We are the option when the work reaches past the ledger: migrating off NetSuite, connecting a storefront and an inventory system, or building against the API for something that has no connector.
Is Campfire a replacement for NetSuite?
For accounting, often yes. For a business that also runs manufacturing, order management or warehouse operations in its ERP, no. We implement both platforms and will tell you which one your requirements point to.
We sell physical products. Can we run on Campfire?
You can run your accounting on it, provided the commerce side is handled deliberately. Campfire’s integration directory lists no e-commerce platforms, so orders, refunds, settlement and inventory valuation have to reach the ledger some other way. That is what Manifest for Campfire is for.
How long does a Campfire implementation take?
It depends on entity count, revenue complexity and how many systems connect to the ledger. We give you a scoped estimate after the fit assessment rather than a number from a brochure.
What does Campfire cost?
Campfire does not publish list pricing; it is quoted by entity count, user count and the modules you turn on. We can tell you what to expect for a business your size and what the implementation adds.
Deciding whether Campfire is the right move?
Tell us what you run today, how many entities you close, and what you sell. We will tell you whether Campfire fits, and what the move involves.
