FAQs
What does a Shopify NetSuite integration sync?
Usually six things: orders (as sales orders or cash sales), customers, items and pricing, inventory by location, fulfillments and tracking back to Shopify, and refunds and returns. Many merchants add Shopify Payments payouts so deposits reconcile in NetSuite. Which system owns each record, and how often it syncs, is decided during design, before anything is built.
Should we use a connector, an iPaaS or a custom integration?
There are three routes. Oracle’s NetSuite Connector (formerly FarApp) suits standard flows. An iPaaS such as Celigo, Boomi or Jitterbit suits teams that already run one for other systems. Lightning, Seibert Consulting Group’s own integration platform, suits merchants who want NetSuite-first logic and fixed pricing. We implement all three and recommend the one that fits your processes and budget.
What is Lightning and what does it cost?
Lightning is the SCG Team’s hosted integration platform. It connects NetSuite to Shopify, Klaviyo, BigCommerce, Loop and other systems. Pricing is Core at $1,500 a month and Growth at $3,500 a month, with Custom by quote and no transaction fees. See the Lightning page for what each tier includes.
How long does a Shopify NetSuite integration take?
It depends on how many flows you need, your order volume and how customized your NetSuite account is. A standard order, inventory and fulfillment integration is a much smaller project than one covering B2B pricing, POS and payouts. We give a scoped estimate after reviewing your NetSuite setup and Shopify data, rather than a number from a brochure.
Does the integration handle Shopify B2B and Shopify POS?

How are Shopify payouts reconciled in NetSuite?
Each Shopify Payments payout is one bank deposit that nets many orders against fees, refunds and chargebacks. The integration records the payout as one NetSuite deposit, grouping the payments it contains and adding fees, refunds and chargebacks as separate lines, so the deposit matches the amount that reached your bank.
Can we bring historical Shopify orders into NetSuite?
Yes, but most merchants should not import every past order as a full sales order. Common approaches are opening balances with summary journal entries, customer records with order-history summaries, or full orders for a limited window such as the current fiscal year. Rosetta, our migration platform, handles the data work.
Who supports the integration after go-live?
