Short answer: Celigo, Boomi and Jitterbit are all integration platforms (iPaaS) that can connect NetSuite to Shopify and other systems, but they suit different teams. Celigo is the most NetSuite-and-ecommerce-focused, with a prebuilt Shopify–NetSuite integration app. Boomi is a broad enterprise platform with deep NetSuite connector support, including OneWorld, and sits alongside API management and master data tools. Jitterbit is a low-code platform with API management and a bundled Shopify–NetSuite integration, often considered by mid-market teams wanting flexibility. None of them publishes a simple price list, so compare on fit and total cost, not the entry quote.
Seibert Consulting Group has implemented NetSuite integrations on these platforms and builds its own, Lightning. We say so up front: Lightning appears in this comparison as a fourth option, and it is ours.

Celigo
Celigo’s Shopify–NetSuite integration app is a managed, prebuilt package. Its published flow list covers orders into NetSuite as sales orders, cash sales or invoices, customer records, customer deposits, fulfillments in both directions, inventory and item exports to Shopify, billing, cancellations and refunds, with a payout reports add-on.
Fits when: you want a packaged Shopify–NetSuite integration that a NetSuite admin can configure, and your processes are close to the standard flows.
Watch for: cost growth as you add endpoints and flows, and custom B2B, POS or multi-location rules that need extra flow work.
Boomi
Boomi is a broad integration platform. Its NetSuite connector supports create, read, update and delete operations across NetSuite editions including OneWorld, maps custom records and segments, and is built with a low-code visual interface. Boomi also offers API management and data hub products.
Fits when: NetSuite is one of many enterprise systems, you have an integration team, and you need governance across multi-subsidiary data.
Watch for: platform complexity for an ecommerce-only use case, and the effort of building Shopify-specific flows instead of starting from a packaged app.
Jitterbit
Jitterbit Harmony is a low-code integration platform with built-in API management. Jitterbit offers a bundled Shopify–NetSuite integration for customers, products, shipments and fulfillment status, creating sales orders in NetSuite.
Fits when: a mid-market team wants templates to start from and room to customize without a full enterprise platform.
Watch for: how much of your process the bundled template covers versus what you build and maintain yourself.
Lightning, SCG’s option
Lightning is a hosted integration platform that treats NetSuite as the system of record for commerce data. Instead of generic flows, it ships plugins aimed at specific outcomes: Shopify revenue operations, Klaviyo revenue intelligence, B2B operations, a B2B customer portal, inventory operations, parts operations and CPQ. The SCG Team implements and supports it, so the integration and the people accountable for it are the same.
Fits when: you run Shopify or Shopify Plus on NetSuite, need B2B or location-aware rules, and want fixed pricing with one team responsible.
Watch for: Lightning is focused on NetSuite-centered commerce stacks; if you need a general enterprise platform across dozens of unrelated systems, Boomi or Jitterbit may suit better. See Lightning.
How to choose
- List the flows you need, including refunds, payouts, B2B pricing, POS and multi-location inventory.
- Ask each vendor to map your list to what is prebuilt, configured or custom.
- Price three years, including added endpoints, flows, support and the people who maintain it.
- Ask who owns failures. When an order fails to sync at 2 a.m., who is alerted and who fixes it?
Frequently asked questions
Which is best for Shopify and NetSuite: Celigo, Boomi or Jitterbit?
For a mostly standard Shopify–NetSuite setup, Celigo’s prebuilt app is usually the fastest start. Boomi suits enterprise IT integrating many systems. Jitterbit suits teams wanting low-code flexibility. The right answer depends on your flows and team.
How much do Celigo, Boomi and Jitterbit cost?
None of the three shows prices on the pages we reviewed. Costs typically depend on connectors, flows and editions, so request quotes against the same flow list.
Is there a Celigo alternative built for NetSuite?
Yes. Options include Jitterbit, Boomi, NetSuite Connector and SCG’s Lightning, which is built around NetSuite as the source of truth for commerce data.
Do I need an iPaaS or a custom integration?
Most mid-market merchants are better served by a platform than custom code. Custom work makes sense for rules no platform handles, ideally built on top of a platform rather than from scratch.
