NetSuite Managing Consultant

We are looking for a highly experienced and effective Managing Consultant to join our rapidly growing NetSuite team full-time. This person will utilize best practices and methodologies to assist with implementing valuable business solutions for our clients while managing a team of consultants within the practice. This Managing Consultant will work extensively with internal leadership, consulting resources, clients, and vendors throughout the project. The Managing Consultant will also provide ongoing management, application configuration, deployment and support assistance. This resource must have strong written, oral and presentation skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise and guide a team of consultants to deliver business solutions as well as assisting, developing and closing business.

Active involvement in company activities including hiring, training, performance management, setting strategic goals, capacity planning, disciplinary action etc.

Involved in business development and pre-sales activities such as soliciting high-level solution requirements, business application demonstrations, proposal development, and drafting project plans with scope, associated assumptions and estimated effort.

Mentor/train consultants on the team to ensure they meet billable utilization goals and understand implementation methodologies.

Assist with gathering client requirements and documenting functional specifications.

Configuration of various modules within NetSuite.

Draft and manage data migration plans/tasks including master records, transactional activity and balances from legacy system to current NetSuite solution.Complete project tasks as assigned, on time and budget while meeting your individual utilization expectations.Draft and provide project status updates to client on a regular basis.Perform assessment of existing NetSuite solutions, recognize opportunity for optimization and provide associated recommendations, roadmap and estimated effort.Responsible for approval of timesheets and expense reports submitted by direct reports.Serves as an escalation resource for consultants to assist in complex [Practice] issues.

Qualifications

5+ years working with the NetSuite application.

3+ years team management and project experience.

Experience with implementation/deployment of ERP systems, management and hands-on configuration capabilities.

Strong understanding of primary business processes including SFA (Campaigns and Promotions), CRM (Leads, Opportunities, Quotes), Procure to Pay, Design to Build (Manufacturing), Order to Cash, Project Accounting, Return to Credit, Customer Support, Core Financial and CPM.}

[Experience with multi-subsidiary, multi-currency and intercompany based transaction flow and accounting]Understands and leverages appropriate project management methodologies (i.e., waterfall, agile, scrum).

Understanding of strategy and operations related to technical consulting and delivery of projects.

Ability to independently manage individual time and tasks

Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations.

Ability to effectively generate new business.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Systems or related field.NetSuite certification preferred

Travel

Consulting work will be primarily performed at our client sites. Some amount of overnight travel (approximately 25%) is inherent in any consulting business and will be required of our team members..
